Serger Event and Upcoming classes!

Hello beautiful! Thank you for keeping up with all of my yammering - we love the interest and support you guys give! Just a real quick update about some of our upcoming classes AND a fantastic Serger Event that you definitely DON'T want to miss! Take a look:
 
 
 
 
 
 
Up Coming Classes 



Garden Quilt - Cone Flowers with Teri Morrow 
Just picked from the garden and ready for a vase, these brightly colored coneflowers are a fun and easy way to try the Cutting-Garden technique. In the first session we will learn a new fusing technique and build our quilt top. In the second session we will learn "renegade thread play" to add highlights, shading and details to our beautiful quilt.

Window on the East with Teri Morrow 

Bring the beautiful fall colors inside and really make a statement. This wall hanging or lap quilt will Wow! your family and friends. It's so easy that even beginners will get a gorgeous result.

Quilting with your Embroidery Machine by Katie Ringo
Maximize the potential of your embroidery machine by learning how to quilt your own quilts at home. You'll learn how to put designs inside blocks or quilt an all-over design on a quilt.

Beginner Machine Quilting with Cheryl Haynes
In this 6 week series, you will learn how to make a quilt with your machine from start to finish. Starting from picking out the fabric and using the right tools to machine piecing and machine quilting and then finally to the binding.
 Tuesdays  - October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, and Nov 5th. All classes are from 10am to Noon.




Quilt Making Basics with Sandi Snow 
nullThis is a series of 4 classes to introduce quilt making to new sewers. During the first class, we'll select fabric and talk about basic concepts. The second class will entail cutting fabric and sewing the first block together. Sandwiching the quilt top, batting and backing and starting to quilt the project will be the topics for the third class. The fourth class will be attaching the binding around your finished quilt.
Saturdays ~ Oct 26th, Nov 9th, Nov 23rd and Dec 7th   
All classes are from 10am to Noon


 

Monday October 21st
10am-1pm or 2pm-5pm  

Learn how sergers work while making a project you can take home.

This event is especially for those who are looking for a great deal on a new serger.  Class fee is $10 and will be applied toward any of your purchases at the event.  Please RSVP by calling 813-749-0888
